  3. Emotion-Inspired Painting: Begin by identifying a specific emotion you're feeling. Instead of trying to label it or explain it, let it guide your choice of colors, shapes, and strokes. This can be a way of releasing pent-up feelings and understanding them on a deeper level.

  4. Body Scan & Sculpture: Engage in a brief body scan meditation, where you notice the sensations in each part of your body. Then, using clay or another tactile material, create a form that represents how you feel physically or emotionally in that moment.

When art therapy is approached mindfully, it can help reduce stress, alleviate symptoms of anxiety, and improve overall emotional well-being. Research has shown that combining creative expression with mindfulness can lead to greater self-awareness, enhanced focus, and a better ability to manage emotions.
